    Like The Butcher's Cleaver, The Grandfather not class specific, but it is limited by its weapon type (only Barbarians and Druids can wield two-handed swords). However, it's got good enough stats any build could use it. The Unique property is a huge increase to Critical Strike damage, and that the other properties of this weapon can roll higher than normal. These properties include a percent damage increase, a boost to all stats, and more maximum life. It also ignores durability loss, which can be useful for some big fights like world bosses.

    It can be found in World Tier 3: Nightmare and even more can be found in World Tier 4: Torment.

    Critical Strike Damage

    Direct damage includes all damage dealt to enemies that is not from damage over time effects. Only direct damage can Critically Strike, Damage over Time cannot. Each hit has a random chance to be a Critical Strike. This chance is equal to your Critical Strike Chance (CSC) stat, which can be increased in many different ways.

    Critical Strike = 5% chance to deal 50% bonus damage. You can increase both of these numbers with skills and gear.

    Maximum Life:

    • If you lose all your Life, you die.
    • You have {#} Base Life at Level {#} and {#} bonus Life from other sources.

    All Stats

    When you gain a level, you’ll receive points to spend in Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, or Willpower, along with your skill points. With each Level, you gain Base Life and Core Stats. Each Level until Level 50 grants a Skill Point. Afterwards, each quarter of a Level grants a Paragon Point.
