Reaching level 100 in Diablo 4 will take 150+ hours for the average player experience. Blizzard also confirmed that completing the campaign will take between 35 and 45 hours. Meanwhile, completing the Season Journey and the Season Pass will take you roughly 80 hours.
World Tiers exist to make sure that the difficulty of the world stays on pace with the power of your character level. The difficulty can be changed when entering the game or at the World Tier Statue in major towns. You need to prove yourself to unlock World Tiers 3, 4, and 5, by completing a specific dungeon (with a difficult boss at the end) to access that more challenging content.
World Tier 1 and 2 will be available from Level 1. World Tier 1 is aimed at players who are new to ARPGs and the franchise, while World Tier 2 is aimed at veterans.
The last World Tier is designed for Level 100 and contains an “extremely difficult” boss at the end. Defeating said boss will get you to the “end of the end-game”.

A level 100 gatekeeping boss is waiting for you at the top. To progress through the game, you must defeat this mighty boss before you get killed. You can level up your world tier by reaching the Diablo IV endgame. The first world tiers are open at the game’s beginning, but you must slay bosses on your way to the top. You will get the courage to progress to the next tier after defeating a boss.
The game’s director notes that Diablo IV will incorporate an endgame with a lot to work on after the campaign’s end to reach level 100. However, you should be prepared to end the game in style at level 100 by defeating the final mighty boss.
