In Diablo 4, each class will have a distinct Lair scene, or space where the player can customize the appearance of their character’s items.
We call this our Lair scene. Players will customize the look of their character here in our exciting new Wardrobe system that allows you to mix and match hundreds of armor components unique to your class, alongside custom color palettes to create the class fantasy that best represents your character.
Once inside the Lair, the player can access the Wardrobe System and dye their armor pieces. Other customizations, like transmogrification, may be done here as well, although this is unconfirmed.
The Barbarian’s Lair scene appears to be set under a canopy tent, possibly in a town in the Dry Steppes region, which Blizzard says many Barbarians hail from.

If you play a Sorceress, you’ll customize your items inside what looks to be a cathedral, complete with stained glass windows, lots of lit candles, and a spiral staircase. Also, a spell book is prominently featured in the background.
