    Drop Rates & Drop Locations

It drops from the following bosses:

    • Boss: Echo of Varshan(Druid)
    • Boss: Lord Zir (Dark Master)(Druid)

Greatstaff of the Crone is clearly meant to be part of a Storm Wolf build, with Claw turning into a Storm Skill and casting Storm Strike at 120% damage. In addition, it gives extra ranks to Claw, extra non-Physical damage, and more damage to crowd-controlled enemies, even more beyond what you normally get as an inherent physical characteristic for a Staff.

This is good enough to be a build-defining cornerstone for a hybrid Werewolf-Storm build, enough so it is worth re-speccing.

It can be found in World Tier 3: Nightmare and even more can be found in World Tier 4: Torment.

You can wear multiple different unique items and gain each of their benefits.

    Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies

    • These effects include Slow, Immobilize, Stun, Knockdown, Taunt, Fear, Tether, Daze, Chill, and Freeze.

Crowd Control (a.k.a. Control Impairing Effects or Status Effects, often abbreviated as CC) is a common term for all negative effects (other than dealing damage or changing the amount of damage received) that can be placed on players or monsters. The name implies their purpose; they are mostly used to buy the attacker time to deal their own damage (or cover their escape), while preventing numerous or overly strong enemies from offensive actions or normal movement.

    Claw Skill

Claw is a Basic skill used by Druid in Diablo 4.

    • Shapeshift into a Werewolf and claw at an enemy for X Damage.
    • Deals Physical Damage
    • Generate Spirit: 9
    • Tags: Basic, Werewolf, Shapeshifting

    Damage to Close Enemies

Close enemies are those who are in Melee range. Distant enemies are those who are outside of Melee range.

    Non-Physical Damage

Physical damage is the most common type of damage, associated with white, red or black colors. Other damages are Non-Physical Damage.
