Diablo 4 Couch Co-Op PS5 PC

D4 Couch Co-Op PS5 PC

Diablo IV will launch on June 6, 2023. Platforms: Windows PC, Xbox One X|S, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4/5. It will host cross-play and cross-progression for all platforms.

On console, players may also slay demons side-by-side with a friend through couch-co-op.

We’ve got fully enabled cross-play. If you have an Xbox and your buddy has a PC, you’re going to be able to group up. Or you could play couch co-op. Two people on a couch can sit there and have a great experience.

Couch Co-Op D4

We know many players enjoyed couch co-op in Reaper of Souls, and that the biggest complaint was the inability to do anything while one local player had a UI screen open. When the topic of couch co-op came up early on in development, we looked at the number of people who utilized this feature in Diablo III and found that the 2-player setup accounted for an overwhelming majority. For Diablo IV, we decided to focus on improving the favored 2-player co-op experience and set up our core progression UI screens such that they can be opened independently or at the same time.

We iterate on this interface regularly and ease of interaction comes before visual polish, but we still welcome impressions at any stage. Everyone approaches the game with a different set of experiences and, consequently, different expectations for how things should look or work and it’s always interesting to hear these perspectives.

To play using couch co-op during the Early Access weekend, only one player will be required to have official access to this experience—the second player will need to have their Battle.net and console-specific accounts linked.

The strength of the Burning Hells knows no bounds. But you can even the odds by rallying a party of demon-destroyers via online 4-player co-op. To play this way during the Early Access weekend, all players, excluding those playing via couch co-op, will be required to have official access to this experience.

Note that vanquishing demons while near any player will grant you 5% bonus experience and 10% if you are near a member of your party.
