WindforceUnique Bow 725 Item Power 1,711 Damage Per Second
Flavour Text: "There have been numerous world-shaping conflicts throughout history. This bow has been found on the battlefield of every one, and always in the hands of the victors." - Barrett's Book of Implements Requires Level 60 Rogue |
It drops from the following bosses:
It's not a Diablo game without Windforce! This classic bow has withstood the test of time, appearing in every mainline Diablo game since the original Diablo. The defining attributes of Windforce, Knockback and huge Damage, have not been changed in this iteration; instead, they've been adjusted to fit the new weapon format of Diablo 4. Knockback can now occur on a Lucky Hit, and hits with the weapon can have a chance to deal Double Damage, making this bow an absolute monster.
Those attributes alone make for a strong weapon, but there's even more. Providing an increase to All Stats, Damage to Distant Enemies (both as an inherent property and an affix), and % Damage to a random Skill, Windforce with the proper Skill roll can turn a ranged build into a wrecking ball. A half rank to the passive Impetus rounds out the weapon by providing Increased Damage after moving, meaning you'll be committing hit and runs across Sanctuary.
It can be found in World Tier 3: Nightmare and even more can be found in World Tier 4: Torment.
You can wear multiple different unique items and gain each of their benefits.
Distant enemies are those who are outside of Melee range.
Impetus is a Ultimate Passive used by Rogue in Diablo 4.
When you gain a level, you’ll receive points to spend in Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, or Willpower, along with your skill points. With each Level, you gain Base Life and Core Stats. Each Level until Level 50 grants a Skill Point. Afterwards, each quarter of a Level grants a Paragon Point.
These skills are the bread and butter of most Rogue builds. They spend lots of Energy but deal much higher damage and hit more targets than Basic skills. In addition, Core Skills can be amplified by Combo Points generated with Basic Skills if the appropriate Specialization is chosen, allowing more tactical gameplay and better use of your resources.
In Diablo IV, Knockback returns as a Crowd Control effect used by both monsters and players.
An additional mechanic is added as a subtype of Knockback: Knock Down. It pins the enemy to the ground, briefly paralyzing them, but does not count as Stun, and does not necessarily push the enemy away.
