Diablo 4 Upgrade Items

The Blacksmith lets you salvage gear into crafting materials, repair, and upgrade your weapons and armor in exchange for crafting materials and Gold.

D4 Upgrade Items

The Blacksmith can upgrade your gear a certain number of times for the cost of crafting materials and gold. This boosts the item’s base stats and affixes.

Diablo 4’s new Blacksmith NPC is found in larger towns (e.g., Kyovashad) and can be used to upgrade an item’s base stats and affixes. Upgrading items costs Gold and crafting materials (unknown at this point). Also, an item can only be upgraded a “certain number of times.”
