This helm, commonly known just as "the Shako" in Diablo 2, was seen in both Diablo 1 and 2, but developed into the plus-skills must-have in Diablo 2. The Unique property of a whopping +4 to all skills is amazing, making this one of the must-have Uniques for all classes -- and the 10% damage reduction across the board is great too. However, the new Harlequin Crest also offers bonuses to all stats (better than the previous version), cooldown reduction, resource generation, and maximum life.
It can be found in World Tier 3: Nightmare and even more can be found in World Tier 4: Torment.
You can wear multiple different unique items and gain each of their benefits.
This stat reduces cooldowns of your active skills, as well as Charge Cooldowns of skills with charges. You can get Cooldown Reduction on your Helmet, Focus (Sorcerer only), or on a unique Amulet we found (Melted Heart of Selig). Cooldown Reduction from different sources stacks multiplicatively.
A resource is gathered in different ways depending on class and each skill has a different resource cost. For example, Mana or Fury are resource pools.
When you gain a level, you’ll receive points to spend in Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, or Willpower, along with your skill points. With each Level, you gain Base Life and Core Stats. Each Level until Level 50 grants a Skill Point. Afterwards, each quarter of a Level grants a Paragon Point.
