Clans are Diablo IV’s version of guilds. These come with a clan banner and bank. Clan leaderboards are being explored but are not confirmed. There are currently no plans for player or clan housing.
Diablo 4 will support clans and have a host of features that help players build and maintain these groups. One such feature is creating a clan banner that members of the clan can display.
The game will feature an in-game voice chat, which will include clan and party voice chat.
Blizzard also says there will be a clan bank feature, where clanmates can deposit gold into a group account. Although a clan stash (for shared items) hasn’t been announced, this feature would also make sense.
Are there going to be clan-specific activities in the future, like organizing a clan World Boss raid?
More features for clans are planned post-launch. There is currently no organized structure to fight World Bosses with multiple groups but Joe Shely added "it is a cool idea".
We know Diablo 4 will have some leaderboards, but we’re not sure if any will be clan specific. Blizzard said they were under consideration back in 2019:
