The Diablo 4 game adds an evade function, which in the case of the PC version, is assigned to the space bar. It allows players to dodge enemy attacks. Furthermore, the game includes a stagger system for some monsters. Players can induce control effects on bosses, and in doing so, this fills up their stagger bar. When it fills, the boss becomes staggered.
Evade allows players to dodge enemy attacks. It has a cooldown timer. It is useful for escaping monster mobs, but is at its most useful against bosses and AoE attacks.
On PC, evade is assigned to the space bar.
The Evade ability is a new addition to Diablo IV, which is a short distance dash for all classes. Players familiar with the console version of Diablo III might recognize this feature.
Change options settings: Options -> Controls -> Key Bindings -> Evade.
