Diablo 4 Dodge & Dodging

D4 Dodge

When you are hit by any attack you have a chance to dodge it, completely nullifying all damage and other harmful effects. You can’t dodge individual ticks of Damage over Time (DoT) effects, but you can dodge the initial attack and prevent the DoT from being applied to you in the first place. There’s a few ways to get dodge chance:

  • 0.025% Dodge Chance per point of Dexterity
  • Rolls on Pants and Boots
  • 3% Dodge Chance per rank of the Agile passive (Rogue only)

Much like Damage Reduction, Dodge Chance stacks multiplicatively, so it’s theoretically impossible to become invincible.

Bonus Damage Upon Dodging:

Bonus Attack Speed after Dodging:

Dexterity

  • Increases Dodge Chance by {#}

Dodge Chance

For example, Dodge Chance: 0.4%.

  • When you would receive direct damage, you have a chance to Dodge it.
  • Dodge attacks deal no damage.
  • As this stat increases, additional bonuses become less effective.

Dodge Chance Against Close Enemies:

  • Your Dodge Chance is increased when you would be damaged by enemies in melee range.
  • Your total Dodge Chance from Close enemies is {#}.
  • As this stat increases, additional bonuses become less effective.

Dodge Chance Against Distant Enemies:

  • Your Dodge Chance is increased when you would be damaged by enemies far away from you.
  • Your total Dodge Chance from Distant enemies is {#}.
  • As this stat increases, additional bonuses become less effective.

Diablo 4 Evade

Evade allows players to dodge enemy attacks. It has a cooldown timer. It is useful for escaping monster mobs, but is at its most useful against bosses and AoE attacks.

On PC, evade is assigned to the space bar.

Third Eye Elixir
