    Ancients' Oath gives your Steel Grasp the ability to cast 2 extra chains, for a total of 5. Enemies hit by Steel Grasp are also Slowed. In addition, this axe gives you extra ranks of Steel Grasp, which will give you the skill if you didn't already have it.

    Keying off the Slowed ability offered by the axe, it also gives increased damage to Slowed enemies. It also does extra Vulnerable and Berserking damage, which works with the modifiers Enhanced Steel Grasp and Fighter's Steel Grasp. If you like using Steel Grasp, this has an attractive package of tightly-synergized abilities to work with it.

    It can be found in World Tier 3: Nightmare and even more can be found in World Tier 4: Torment.

    Damage while Berserking

    • Increases your damage dealt while you are Berserking.

    Steel Grasp is a Weapon Mastery skill used by Barbarian in Diablo 4.

    • Throw out a trio of chains that deal 7 damage and Pull In enemies.
    • Deals Physical Damage.

    Damage to Slowed Enemies

    Increases Damage to slowed enemies. Enemies that are Slowed have reduced movement speed.

    X% Vulnerable Damage

    Vulnerable enemies take 20% increased damage.

    The Vulnerable status effect increases the damage taken by enemies for a short duration. It is represented by a purple glow around the Health Bar for enemies and a cracked Health Globe for you.
