Vaal Lightning Trap is a Vaal skill. It creates a trap that launches a ring of projectiles when triggered. The projectiles pierce through all targets, dealing lightning damage and leaving behind a narrow trail of shocking ground for a duration.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Chaining: Since Vaal Lightning Trap's projectiles always pierce, then they cannot chain, so supporting it with Chain Support will have no effect.

Multiple Traps: When Vaal Lightning Trap is linked with Multiple Traps Support or Cluster Traps Support, additional traps are only placed if Vaal Lightning Trap has sufficient souls to do so.

Duration: Increased Duration increases both the trap duration and the duration of the shocking ground effect.

Item acquisition

Vaal Lightning Trap has restrictions on where or how it can drop. Vaal Lightning Trap can drop from the Vaal Vessels found in Vaal side areas. Drop level: 12.
