Vaal Ancestral Warchief is a Vaal skill gem. It functions much the same as Ancestral Warchief, but deals more damage, in a cascade, and has the ability to leap towards enemies that are out of range.

Skill functions and interactions

Soul Gain Prevention: 9 seconds base, affected by totem duration, not affected by (reduced) skill effect duration, even when combined with Close Combat Support and Less Duration Support.

Vaal Ancestral Warchief has restrictions on where or how it can drop. Vaal Ancestral Warchief can drop from the Vaal Vessels found in Vaal side areas. Drop level: 28.
