In addition to combining skills in the game, there are 6 special mechanisms that can be useful: [Hardened], [Thrill], [Surge], [Mark], [Barrier], and [Blur].

Although the 6 mechanisms are presented as statuses, they can achieve surprising effects when combined with proper skills and enhanced by related affixes.

[Mark]

[Mark] is special in that it targets the enemy instead of the caster. Mark's basic effect: Locks on the target, reducing evasion by 20% and increasing critical strike damage taken by 20%.

[Mark] is mainly applied via active skills "Aim", "Marked Shot", and support skill "Mark". In addition, there are a few Talent Points that can be learned to unleash [Mark]. Generally speaking, it can be unleashed in reliable ways.

Active skill - Aim: Quickly locks on enemies within the designated area and [mark] them. The chance to deal double damage increases based on the number of [marked] enemies.

Active skill - Marked Shot: Deals weapon attack damage. When hitting an enemy with this skill, there is a chance to [mark] the enemy. This skill deals extra damage on [marked] enemies.

Support skill - Mark: There is an extra 40% chance to [mark] when being hit by the supported skill. The supported skill deals extra damage on [marked] enemies.

Talent panel- God of War - Core Talent [Cleanse]: [Mark] nearby enemies every other second. Increases critical strike rating by 200 against [marked] enemies.

There are two aspects for enhancement around [Mark]: applying debuffs on [marked] enemies, and applying more buffs on self by [marking].

[Marked] enemies receive extra damage or ailment statuses:

Talent panel- Shadowdancer - Medium Talent: +25% chance to cause Poisoned on [marked] enemies.

Talent panel- Shadowdancer - Medium Talent: +20% chance to cause Blinding when hitting [marked] enemies.Talent panel- Shadowdancer - Core Talent [Sting in the Eye]: +20% extra damage to [marked] enemies. You take 10% less damage from [marked] enemies.

Talent panel- Ronin - Core Talent [Lock On]: Enemies you [marked] cannot evade. Enemies you [marked] are also blinded.

Talent panel- Ranger - Core Talent [Track]: Critical strike detonates the [mark] of the [marked] target, dealing physical damage equal to 25% of the damage taken by the target while [marked].Talent panel- God of War - Core Talent [Cleanse]: [Mark] nearby enemies every other second. Increases critical strike rating by 200 against [marked] enemies.

Talent panel- Bloodstriker - Medium Talent: + 8% attack speed and +10% movement speed when there are [marked] enemies nearby.

Legendary gears - Night Owl's Bloodstained Necklace: Every [marked] enemy nearby grants + (40-60)% Elemental Damage.

Legendary Gear - Rain Sparrow: +2 Projectile Jump Attempts When there are 2 or more [marked] targets nearby.
