Torchlight Infinite season 3 new summoning mechanic: Command.
Equipping a skill that can summon Synthetic Troops will grant Command. Every point of Command will grant Minions +2% additional damage and a bigger Tracking Area. The lowest Command is -100 while the highest is 100. When Command is not 0, 13 points will be returned (reduced/granted) per second. For every 10 Command increased, +7 additional points returned until the total Command becomes 0.
Command is gained after equipping a skill that summons Minions.
Added an upgrade system for synthetic troop minions. Command can greatly increase the damage dealt by synthetic troops. However, command will always drop back down to zero quickly. The key to defeating powerful enemies with an army of synthetic troops is learning how to effectively gain and maintain command.
Command ranges from -100 to 100. Every point of Command additionally grants +2% Minion Damage, and Minions have a bigger tracking area. Synthetic Troop Minions will not naturally vanish when Command is a positive value.
Command increases or decreases by a certain amount every second until it returns to 0. This is the regression value of Command.
Torchlight Infinite Flame Elementium
Command is a new mechanic designed for some of the builds, specifically addressing the monotony of using synthetic troop minions. Due to the lack of related attributes that can be developed by item, command, we have introduced additional development paths for synthetic troop minions and significantly increase the damage dealt by synthetic troops. Since command will always drop down to zero quickly, changing the combat rhythm of synthetic troop minions can be achieved by developing command. Hunters can choose to develop command in a stable manner to ensure it is always within a certain range along with synthetic troop minions to deal with consistent damage.
Alternatively, special development methods can be employed to gain a large amount of command in a short period of time making synthetic troop minions attack wildly in an instant to deal massive burst damage. However, this approach may cause you to lose all of your command quickly after bursting.
As a result, the key to defeating powerful enemies with an army of synthetic troops lies in learning how to effectively gain and maintain command. This new mechanic offers a more engaging Dynamic experience for hunters who prefer summoning builds.
