PoE Act 5 Map Guide, Walkthrough, Waypoints

Act 5 is Path of Exile’s fifth storyline act. In this act, the exile returns to Oriath to find the slaves in revolt. The leader of the revolt claims allegiance to Kitava , a Karui god of corruption. The exile seeks to kill High Templar Avarius in order to end the tyranny of the Templars. Act 5 covers monster levels 41–45.

Act 5 Town: Overseer’s Tower

Overseer’s Tower is the town for Act 5 and is connected to The Slave Pens and The Control Blocks. Like all towns, it has a Stash/Guild Stash, Noticeboard, Event Noticeboard, and Waypoint.

NPCs: Utula (weapon and armour vendor), Lani (jewelry & flask vendor), Vilenta, Sin, Bannon (weapon and armour vendor (post-Avarius), Lilly Roth.

Note: after the player defeats High Templar Avarius, Oriath Square is replaced by The Ruined Square. In Act 10, The Ruined Square is replaced by The Ravaged Square.

Act 5 Fast Leveling Guide

  1. The Slave Pens - Tag WP - Kill Overseer Krow - Go to Town
  2. Town - Talk to NPCs - Go to Control Blocks
  3. Control Blocks - Pick up Miasmeter (down/left) - Kill Justicar Casticus (top/right) - Take Eyes of Zeal - Go to Oriath Square
  4. Oriath Square - Tag WP - Open Templar Courts Entrance (top right) - Go to Templar Courts
  5. The Templar Courts - Tag WP - Go to Chamber of Innocence
  6. The Chamber of Innocence - Tag WP - Go to Sanctum of Innocence (go leftmost, then right)
  7. The Sanctum of Innocence - Kill High Templar Avarius and Innocence - Go to Chamber of Innocence
  8. Chamber of Innocence - Go to Torched Courts
  9. Torched Courts - Go to Ruined Square
  10. Ruined Square - Tag WP (top left) - Go to Ossuary (near WP)
  11. Ossuary - Pick up Sign of Purity - TP to Town
  12. Town - Talk to NPCs - WP to Ruined Square
  13. Ruined Square - Go to Reliquary (down)
  14. Reliquary - Tag WP - Collect Tukohama's Tooth, Hinekora's Hair and Valako's Jaw (corners of zone) - TP to Town
  15. Town - Talk to NPCs - WP to Ruined Square
  16. Ruined Square - Go to Cathedral Rooftop (left)
  17. Cathedral Rooftop - Go to Cathedral Apex
  18. Cathedral Apex - Activate Cradle of Purity - Kill Kitava and Kitava's Heart - Get teleported to Town
  19. Town - Sail to Act VI

Once Innocence is killed, Act 5's structure will change permanently. The Chamber of Innocence waypoint will remain, but areas between the Control Blocks and the Torched Courts will become hidden again and the related waypoints will be unusable until rediscovered.
