Fork Support is a support gem.

Supports projectile skills, making their projectiles fork into two projectiles the first time they hit an enemy and don"t pierce it.

This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Active Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

Fork is a support gem that causes any projectiles created by the supported skill to fork when they hit an enemy. The original projectile disappears and two new projectiles travel past the enemy away from each other at a 120º angle.

Any projectiles that pierce cannot fork, so Fork typically has no effect on skills like Freezing Pulse and Spectral Throw. However, Divergent Slower Projectiles Support and Divergent Chain Support have a chance to prevent linked projectiles for piercing, thus enabling fork and chain. A projectile can only fork once. The two projectiles created by forking cannot themselves fork. See Forking for more information.
