You can see the image from below, Glimpse of Chaos Glimpse of Chaos and Hands of the High Templar has the Can be modified while Corrupted mods.

Can be modified while Corrupted

Normally, corrupting an item makes it impossible to apply further currency to it, aside from changing sockets with the crafting bench.

The above items offer an exception to this rule, making it possible to corrupt it over and over again until the corruption outcome turns it into a rare item.

Therefore these items can become incredibly powerful and versatile. But every corruption carries the risk of turning it into a rare item, removing this unique property.

Crafting

Even after Corrupted, players can still craft them using the following methods, and more:

  • Using Blessed Orb Blessed Orb to reroll the numeric values of the implicit mods (including the rare Vaal implicits)
  • Using Divine Orb Divine Orb to reroll the numeric values of the explicit mods (armour, life and resistances)
  • Using Jeweller’s Orb Jeweller’s Orb to change the number of sockets
  • Using Orb of Fusing Orb of Fusing to link sockets together
  • Using Chromatic Orb Chromatic Orb to change socket colors (Warning: If these items have any white sockets, they will be replaced with colored sockets)
  • Using Armourer’s Scrap Armourer’s Scrap to increase the item quality and the defensive stats

Vaal Orb Crafting

Every time players use a Vaal Orb Vaal Orb, it has an evenly split chance to (25% chance):

  1. No effect (other than adding the corrupted property if not already present).
  2. Changing one or more sockets to white sockets.
  3. Adding a special Vaal implicit OR replacing an existing one.
  4. Bricking it by converting it into a rare item (sockets, links and six random affixes are randomized). This outcome removes all accumulated implicits and white sockets, while making further corruptions impossible.
