PoE Uber Venarius 3.24

PoE 3.24: The Cosmic Wounds, Memento Mori, Thirst for Knowledge, Insatiable Appetite, Throw the Gauntlet, and The Perfect Storm Atlas Keystone Passives have been removed. Instead, we have added a new set of fragments that can be used to access the Uber Pinnacle Bosses. These fragments can be obtained from the new Tier 17 Maps we're also introducing with this patch.

PoE Uber Venarius Fragment

Place five of the same Synthesising Fragment in the Map Device to challenge Uber Venarius Pinnacle Boss, and you no longer need to worry about arranging the fragments in the right order! (The fifth slot in the Map Device is now unlocked upon completing a non-Valdo's Tier 17 Map.)

Peak Pinnacle Prowess challenge: Defeat any four of the following Pinnacle Boss Encounters while the area is level 85.

High Templar Venarius in Cortex

Memento Mori is an Atlas Keystone Passive Skill. It is for fighting the Uber Venarius. The fight is extremely difficult, so only attempt it if you have a very powerful character.

• The Cortex is level 85
• Venarius' full power is unleashed in the Cortex
• Venarius drops 3 additional Rare Items with 3 less common Synthesised Implicit Modifiers
• 100% increased effect of Additional Modifiers in the Cortex

With the Memento Mori Atlas keystone passive, Venarius and his creations are fought in Area Level 85 and greatly increases in difficulty. The fight with Venarius will have the following changes:

• Area has the mod Monsters take 70% less damage
• Each unique phase will spawn an additional Unique Synthete (map bosses from Synthesis Maps).
  • Fractal Gargantuan - Altered Synthete
  • Synthete Masterpiece - Augmented Synthete
  • Fractal Titan - Twisted Synthete
  • Synthete Nightmare - Rewritten Synthete
• Energy Pylons will spawn in all four Unique phases.

Note: Vivid Memories is a pre-requisite node for Memento Mori, which causes all zone modifiers to have 100% increased effect, increasing the difficulty of the fight significantly or even bricking some builds. This can be disabled by allocating Wandering Path; however, this also disables other beneficial notables like Neural Pathways and Synaptic Impulses.

The Keystone also works with Replica Cortex.

Uber Cortex will drop 3 additional Synthesised items with 3 synthesised implicit modifiers, rolling with less common implicits.

Cortex

Cortex is a unique Relic Chambers Map. It has a variable tier (T9/11/14) but has a fixed area level (83).

This map can only drop from Tier 14 or higher map bosses. It may also be sold by Zana or offered as her Atlas Mission.
