Apex of Ascension(Search) is a Tier 3 incursion room of the Temple of Atzoatl. It contains the Altar of Sacrifice crafting bench.

3. Exclusively Uniques in the Temple of Atzoatl

Vials are currency items used to upgrade certain unique items to their more powerful versions. They are used by placing one in the Altar of Sacrifice in Apex of Ascension (a Tier 3 room that upgraded from Sacrificial Chamber and Hall of Offerings) along with the required unique item.

4. Altar of Sacrifice

Altar of Sacrifice is a bench that can be found in Sacrificial Chamber (level 1 room), Hall of Offerings (level 2) or Apex of Ascension (level 3), that provides the player with one of two different functions:

• Sacrifice a unique item for another random unique item (of the same item class if the room was level 3: Apex of Ascension), including items not ordinarily obtainable (level 2 and 3 rooms only).
• At Apex of Ascension only: transforms unique items found exclusively in the Temple of Atzoatl by sacrificing specific unique items with the matching Vial to upgrade it.

Apex of Ascension is one of the rooms in the ancient Vaal Temple of Atzoatl that can be obtained by upgrading the Hall of Offerings.

5. Vial Currency Example: Vial of Consequence

Vial of Consequence is a vial currency item that can be used to upgrade  Coward’s Chains to  Coward’s Legacy.

5.1 How to use Vial of Consequence?

Sacrifice this item on the Altar of Sacrifice along with Coward’s Chains to transform it.

A Vial is a currency item used to upgrade unique items. It is used by placing it in the Altar of Sacrifice in a Level 3 Sacrificial Chamber (Apex of Ascension) with the required unique item.

5.2 Vial of Consequence Farm

5.2.1 Slain monster in The Vaal Omnitect

It can only be obtained from The Vaal Omnitect. The Vaal Omnitect is the final boss of The Temple of Atzoatl.

The endboss of the temple is the Vaal Omnitect. It is located in the top chamber, the final temple room.

This room is accessible if you create a route to it during the incursions. You can create a route by killing the mobs until they drop a Stone of Passage, then going to the door you want to open with the Stone of Passage and and opening it. Alternatively, if you have access to the Explosives Room or a higher tier version during the temple instance, you can use the charges found inside it to open a path to the central chamber.
