Without being hit by Vomit

Vomit Comet - "Melt!" - fires a mortar of Phys/Chaos projectiles that always poison.

Vomit Comet 2 - "Digestion!" - fires additional projectiles that leave behind a pool of Vomitous Ooze that does Physical/Chaos DOT and reduces movement speed by 40%.

While you have at least 50 stacks of Corrosive Hunger

Corrosive Hunger is a stacking, permanent debuff that reduces the physical damage reduction as well as chance to evade attack of players in the underground area of Seething Chyme (The boss arena of The Infinite Hunger). This debuff does not appear to have a cap and will continue to stack until your physical damage reduction and chance to evade attack are 0.

Icon Corrosive Hunger(Debuff)
PoE Corrosive Hunger You have -1% Physical Damage Reduction and -1% to Chance to Evade per Corrosive Hunger.

Without gaining more than 20 stacks of Corrosive Hunger and after having been pulled under at least three times

  • When the Infinite Hunger drags you under (teleporting you to a very large area that gradually stacks an unlimited, permanent amount of Corrosive Hunger debuff while inside - each stack reducing 1% physical damage reduction and chance to evade attack per stack), follow the direction of the flowing goo to head to the portal back to the arena.
  • Standing on the islands will prevent you from taking damage; stepping into the ooze will inflict the Digestive Acid debuff which deals Physical and Chaos DOT, and reduces movement speed.

  • "Crush!"
  • "Cull!"

    • Vomit Comet 2 - "Digestion!" - fires additional projectiles that leave behind a pool of Vomitous Ooze that does Physical/Chaos DOT and reduces movement speed by 40%.
  • Burrow - "Hunger!" - becomes invulnerable, moving around arena leaving Physical/Chaos DOT trail behind. Remains in this phase for a duration, or jumps out and slams player if nearby.
  • Sumo Slam - "Obliterate!" - glows briefly before doing a large AOE slam similar to Ice Crash, 35% of Physical converted to Chaos
  • Drowning - the arena periodically fills up completely with bile, inflicting a stack of the Drowning debuff which slows you by 8% movement speed per stack, and at 10 stacks teleporting you to the underground area.

Siege of the Atlas expansion

  • After defeating Kitava, you will meet Commander Kirac in the Karui Shores and join his militia to safeguard the Atlas of Worlds. The Envoy will inform you that two Eldritch Horrors, The Searing Exarch and The Eater of Worlds, are approaching and will consume everything.
  • By completing maps affected by their influence, you can hunt down their sub-bosses, The Black Star and The Infinite Hunger, before finally facing The Searing Exarch and The Eater of Worlds themselves. Defeating these formidable foes yields valuable rewards including exclusive new unique items.
  • The Atlas of Worlds has been revised, and regions have been removed. The regional Atlas Passive Trees have been replaced with one gigantic Atlas-wide Passive Tree that affects all maps you run. You can earn points by completing bonus objectives of maps and finishing certain Atlas quests.
  • The Watchstone system has also been removed, and replaced with Voidstones which are obtained by defeating The Uber Elder, The Maven, The Searing Exarch and The Eater of Worlds. These Voidstones raise the tiers of maps on your Atlas and can be augmented by Sextants.
