Path of Exile Bandits

There are three different bandit leaders. You can either side with one of them (and kill the other two) to get the respective reward or you can kill all of them to get the reward from Eramir. Careful consideration should be taken when choosing a reward, as changing to a different reward needs 20 Orbs of Regret and an Amulet.

The best choice of PoE Bandits depends on your builds. If you need more Life, then do Oak quest. If you need more Mana, then the best Bandits choice is Alira. If you want to increase attack, cast, and movement speed, then do Kraityn quest. If you want to get two more passive points, the best choice is to kill all bandits.

PoE Bandits Reskill & Change

It is possible to change your Bandit choice:

  1. Take 20 Orb of Regret along with an amulet (given in the table above), and sell it to any vendor at a town, triggering a Vendor recipe.
  2. In exchange, they will give you a Book of Reform.
  3. Right-click the book in your inventory to confirm your bandit change.
  4. A confirmation window will pop up informing you of which rewards you will gain and lose.

This is a Act 2 quest. The following is an example for having completed The Bandit Lord Alira quest.

Quest Complete - You have slain Oak and Alira. Kraityn has rewarded you with

  • 6% increased Attack and Cast Speed

Quest Complete - You have slain the Bandit Lords. Eramir has rewarded you with

  • 2 Passive Skill Points

In case you have chosen a Bandit, the quest Deal With The Bandits will show: Quest Abandoned - You have aided a Bandit Lord.

  • Talk to Eramir(location: The Forest Encampment, Act 2) after complete Through Sacred Ground quest.
  • Or talk with any of the bandit leaders.

Quest Rewards

Whether you’ve sided with one of the bandit lords or killed them all, completion of this quest will provide you with the quest item The Apex which you will use on the Dark Altar (entrance located in The Northern Forest → The Caverns → Ancient Pyramid).
