Uber Elder Fragments PoE 3.24 Changes

In Path of Exile: Necropolis you can exchange Uber Elder Fragments at a Horticrafting Station and Maven Invitations no longer drop, Kirac will now give them to you when you're ready to visit Maven's arena.

We are making some quality of life improvements to systems in the endgame. We have two for you today. Firstly, we have added the capability to exchange between Fragments of Knowledge and Fragments of Shape, and also between Fragments of Terror and Fragments of Emptiness. These are the Fragments required to enter the Uber Elder fight.

PoE Uber Elder Fragments

You can exchange them at the Horticrafting Station acquired through Harvest encounters in the endgame.

  • Change a stack of Fragments of Terror or Emptiness into the other Fragment. Or change a stack of Fragments of Shape or Knowledge into the other Fragment. Cost is proportional to stack size.

Update 3.24 of Path of Exile: Necropolis introduced a couple of quality of life changes for endgame systems, specifically related to Uber Elder Fragments and Maven Invitations.

Here's a breakdown of the changes:

  • Uber Elder Fragment Exchange: You can now convert between different types of Uber Elder Fragments at a Horticrafting Station. This allows you to exchange:
    • Fragments of Knowledge/Shape
    • Fragments of Terror/Emptiness

This provides more flexibility in acquiring the specific fragments you need to enter the Uber Elder fight. The exchange cost is proportional to the stack size of the fragments you're converting.

  • Maven Invitations: Maven Invitations no longer drop as random loot. Instead, Kirac, the Master of Metamorphosis, will now directly grant you invitations when you're ready to access Maven's arena. This streamlines the process of obtaining invitations and eliminates the randomness associated with their acquisition.

Overall, these changes aim to improve the user experience in the endgame by providing more control over Uber Elder Fragment acquisition and simplifying access to Maven's arena.

The Uber Elder fragments are required to gain access to Absence of Value and Meaning, where Uber Elder can be encountered.

They can be obtained by defeating the Shaper or the Elder.
