2.1 Supports

Doom Blast can be supported by applicable support gems socketed in the above items; it is not necessary to link the sockets together.

Doom Blast is not a skill gem, therefore it cannot be supported by Empower Support Empower SupportEnhance Support Enhance Support, or Enlighten Support Enlighten Support.

2.2 Build Tips

Doom Blast is considered a spell, therefore modifiers to spell damage apply to it.

Doom Blast is triggered after a hex ends, so its damage does not benefit from bonuses of the ending hex. E.g. the reduced chaos resistance from Despair Despair.

3. Explode Skills

Explode effects causes a monster or corpse, when killed or detonated, to release an area of effect explosion, dealing damage to nearby enemies. Most of these effects scale with the monster’s maximum life. Explosions are considered secondary damage. Exploded enemies do not leave a corpse on death.
