Demyan

Demyan is a NPC in Diablo 4. He acts as an Occultist. Gender: Male. Race: Human. Status: Active.

Demyan can extract a legendary power from a Legendary item, crystallizing it into Essence while destroying the item in the process. That Essence can then be implanted into another Legendary item, overriding the power that was present in the item at that time. Essence material can also be stored and used at a later time. Items that have been enchanted by the Occultist cannot be traded.

• The Legendary Aspect can then either be implanted into another Legendary item, overriding its existing Legendary affix,
• or be implanted into a Rare item, upgrading it into a Legendary in the process. 
• Uniques cannot be modified.
