I’ve had nothing but nightmares since Brayan brought back that terrifying “trophy.” It was the head of a beast the likes of which I’ve never seen. The dreams are always the same. I see the beast’s skull. I hear distant screams. I smell burning oak and flesh. The others think I’ve gone soft, but something is wrong. I can feel it.
