Vaal Pact

Vaal Pact is a keystone passive skill. It grants doubled life leech speed and maximum life leech rate, but causes life regeneration to have no effect. Life Leeched per Second is doubled Maximum total Recovery per second from Life Leech is doubled Life Regeneration has no effect When Vaal Pact is allocated all life regeneration has no effect, including Zealot’s Oath.

Is Vaal Pact worth it?

Players can restore life by using flasks, gaining life regeneration from passive skills and equipment, or leeching life from enemies, among other mechanics.

• Regeneration provides passive recovery over time.
• Leech grants recovery based on damage dealt with the specified type of damage.

Vaal Pact + Zealot’s Oath

Zealot’s Oath applies life regeneration to energy shield instead of life.

If the character has both Vaal Pact and Zealot’s Oath, Vaal Pact takes priority and will not regenerate energy shield. This will not prevent energy shield from recharging as it normally does. Additionally, it does not prevent other sources of energy shield regeneration, such as  Shavronne’s Revelation, as it is specifically energy shield regeneration and not life regeneration converted by Zealot’s Oath.

How to get Vaal Pact?

1. Passive Skill Tree

Vaal Pact is located on the middle layer of the south side, on the east side of the Duelist’s area.

2. Vaal Pact Uniques

These unique items have the Vaal Pact modifier, which provides the same effect as this keystone. Taking the keystone in addition to equipping one of these items will impart no additional benefit.
