Complete each of the following Abyss encounters.

League mechanics: Abyss. Kirac map mods: Area contains 2 additional Abysses(cost: 6 Chaos Orbs). PoE Abyss Scarab : Area contains an additional Abyss. List of PoE Abyss Atlas Tree.

Here’s a breakdown of how to tackle each Abyss encounter you listed:

1. Complete Abysses (0/30):

  • This is the most straightforward. Simply enter any map and find an Abyss crack on the ground.
  • Kill all the monsters that spawn from the crack to "complete" the Abyss.
  • Repeat this process in 30 different maps to finish the challenge.

2. Defeat Rare Abyssal monsters (0/100):

  • While completing regular Abysses, keep an eye out for Abyssal monsters with a yellow nameplate (rares) and a blue health bar.
  • These rares are tougher than regular ones but offer better loot.
  • You need to defeat 100 of these Abyssal rares to complete the challenge.

3. Complete Abysses with 4 pits (0/10):

  • Focus on finding Abysses that spawn the Stygian Spire (a large black obelisk).
  • The Stygian Spire shoots projectiles that create chasms (pits) on the ground.
  • You need to complete 10 Abysses where the Spire spawns and creates 4 pits before it gets destroyed.
  • Refer to the previous tips I mentioned about managing damage to the Spire to ensure it spawns enough monsters and creates 4 pits.

4. Defeat Stygian Spires (0/5):

  • This challenge overlaps slightly with the previous one.
  • You need to defeat 5 Stygian Spires in total.
  • Follow the tips mentioned earlier to strategically damage the Spire and allow it to spawn enough monsters before destroying it.

Additional Tips:

  • Use Abyss Scarabs on your maps. These guarantee an Abyss encounter in the map.
  • Allocate Atlas Passive points that increase the frequency of Abyss encounters.
  • Play in higher tier maps (if your character can handle them) as they have a higher chance of spawning Abysses with Stygian Spires.
