Path of Exile Mobile

GGG is working on an experimental version of Path of Exile for mobile devices. Path of Exile’s Atlas Map system is actually perfect for bite-sized action gameplay. This is a complete Path of Exile game experience with no pay-to-win elements and is being developed in-house at Grinding Gear Games.

One of the major benefits of this project was the tech GGG has developed. It is allowing GGG to improve their tools and engine and system across the board for all platforms. Their goal is to bring Path of Exile to mobile with absolutely zero compromises.

GGG wants to make something that is a real Path of Exile game. GGG doesn’t just farm it out to an external studio. It is developed entirely by a team here in New Zealand.

The difference between Path of Exile Mobile and PC games: you expect to play for shorter game sessions on the phone. Maps will become the perfect length of quick time required for mobile gameplay while retaining all of the deep systems the Path of Exile players expects.
