PoE Oshabi - Harvest Final Boss

PoE 3.19 Changes: Tier 4 bosses are now encountered much more frequently and can drop a key to fight Oshabi. She yields special lifeforce that can be used for a specific set of crafts.

Oshabi is an NPC in the Harvest league. You can find her along with seed caches in each area. Oshabi can take you to The Sacred Grove, where your seeds can be planted, grown, and harvested for Raw Lifeforce. This Raw Lifeforce can later be converted to Condensed Lifeforce to irrigate your garden.

Introduction

Hi, I am Oshabi, a child of the Azmeri. I was born on Wraeclast, I have lived my whole life on Wraeclast, and I will die on Wraeclast. And when that day comes, with its blessing, I hope I will stay dead.

We Azmeri are few, but when the land's whispers grew silent, my brothers and sisters turned their backs on me. In that, Exile, we have something in common.

Infrastructure

There are four main types of infrastructure: Collector (harvests your plants and lets you craft), Disperser (uses Condensed Lifeforce to grow advanced plants), Storage Tank (holds more Condensed Lifeforce for later use) and Pylon (used to connect pieces of your infrastructure). Oshabi will give you some infrastructure freely, but you can craft more later on.

Path of Exile: Harvest

In the Harvest Challenge League, you'll meet Oshabi, an Azmeri Mystic who has enlisted your help in exploring the mysterious powers of the Sacred Grove. In each area of Wraeclast, you'll discover a seed cache and will be able to travel through Oshabi's portal to the Sacred Grove to plant those seeds. Fully grown seed crops unearth dangerous monsters when harvested.

Slaying these harvested monsters yields their Lifeforce, a powerful resource that can be used for crafting and growing more exotic crops. The crafting potential from Harvest monsters is immense, unlocking new power for both leveling and end-game players alike.

Some harvested monsters may yield higher-tier seeds that require more elaborate garden setups but grant even more powerful crafting options. Climbing the tiers of seeds will eventually pit you against some powerful new bosses who can drop new unique items exclusively available from them.

Creating Oshabi

You can see how GGG create Oshabi here.

The Sacred Grove

“It is beautiful, yes? I believe it to be older than the Eternal Empire. Older than the Vaal? I am not so sure. But it does not look like their work. I like to believe it is a work of my ancestral Azmeri. I was once blessed with a deep connection to the land. It would speak to me, and nourish me. But that connection was severed. And in turn, my tribe severed their connection to me. I was alone. Lost. The land spoke no more… until I found this place.” — Oshabi

So, how do we get to the Sacred Grove? Through the portal or through our hideout or what? The answer is through the portal. Find a seed cache, Oshabi steps into the portal, and says, “Do you want to come to plant some stuff”? You can say no, I’m taking these seeds, and then I’m going to continue playing games, or you can do gardening through the portal.

In addition, if you want to go back there, you can also visit it through your hideout. It’s worth noting that time only passes when you discover the seed cache in the real world (that is, the main game). Therefore, if you visit the portal through your hideout, there will be no change compared with the last time.

Plant Potent Seeds

Seek out the Seed Cache in every area you explore. Take its seeds through Oshabi’s portal to the Sacred Grove. Sow those seeds to grow dangerous and rewarding monsters. While most seeds grow easily, rarer high-tier ones require more careful planning but yield more valuable results.

After finding a Seed Cache and collecting its seeds, you can access the Sacred Grove instance through Oshabi’s portal. You should build a so-called “Collectors” first. Once the seeds “bloom,” the collector can be used to collect the collectible “Life Force” of the seeds. In this case, “bloom” means generating monsters for you to fight.

Unearth Legendary Foes

Oshabi speaks of the legend of three primordial beasts: Ersi, Janaar and Namharim. For those able to cultivate these rare seeds, the immense monsters that emerge can yield Harvest’s most valuable rewards.

When I enter Oshabi's portal will I have to wait for a loading screen?

No, it works similar to Incursion and loads instantly.

How does it work in parties?

You will be able to access your party members' gardens by entering Oshabi's portal. We are still working out the details for how seed drop allocation will work when a player opens the seed cache as well as how that will affect an individual player's progress toward growing their plants.
