Modifiers

Shared Suffering: All Damage from Hits can cause Elemental Ailments you are suffering. Elemental Ailments you inflict are removed from you.

Shared Suffering does not automatically transfer elemental ailments you are suffering to enemies. Instead, any damage from your hits can cause the ailments you are suffering; for example, while shocked, your physical damage can Shock. This part of the modifier is similar to the All Damage can Shock/Ignite/Chill modifiers on the Elementalist passives Shaper of Storms, Shaper of Flames and Shaper of Winter, except that it is conditional to you suffering the ailment and applies to all elemental ailments. You still need to successfully apply the ailment (in particular, have sufficiently high damage to apply the ailment) for it to be removed from you.
