Mechanics

  • Sacrifice 10% of your Life when you Use or Trigger a Spell Skill: This modifier will not kill the player if their life drops to 1. This mod is worded similarly to Dark Pact, and both share the same mechanics. For Low Life characters, the life sacrifice is negligible unless the player is purposely keeping their reserved life above 10% (to avoid Culling Strike from enemy exiles in Hall of Grandmasters or Animated Weapons in Death and Taxes).
    • It can be used without any downsides with Dissolution of the Flesh.
  • The increased Critical Strike Chance and Spell Damage modifiers do not apply to Minions while Necromantic Aegis is allocated (as minions are not players).

Rathpith Globe can drop anywhere. It can be chanced. Rathpith Globe belongs to a special group of unique items called league-specific items, which can be obtained from certain divination cards and other sources in addition to their normal acquisition methods.
