Hollow Fossil Hollow Fossil is a fossil type. Fossils are a special type of currency introduced in the delve league that can be socketed into resonators to modify the crafting behavior in specific ways. Fossils can also add special Delve modifiers. It can be used on Unset Ring, Belt, Gloves, Weapons, Boots, Body Armour, and Helmets.

Abyss sockets are special types of sockets exclusively found on Abyss themed items. Abyss sockets take the place of regular sockets, i.e. an item will have the number of maximum coloured sockets reduced by the amount of abyss sockets; for example, a glove with two abyss sockets can only have up to a maximum of 2 coloured sockets.

You can only socket abyss jewels into these sockets.

Abyss Jewels

Abyss Jewels are functionally identical to jewels, but with a few differences. Abyss Jewels can be socketed to Abyssal Sockets on equipment. Also, unlike regular jewels, Abyssal Jewel modifiers are item level dependent, so some modifiers and modifier tiers require a minimum item level to roll.

Abyss Jewels include: Ghastly Eye Jewel, Hypnotic Eye Jewel, Murderous Eye Jewel, and Searching Eye Jewel.
