Mageblood is a unique Heavy Belt. Currently, it is the most expensive unique belt. Though the probability is very rare, using Ancient Orb to chance a unique belt has the chance to obtain a Mageblood belt.

3. Ancient Orb Headhunter

Go to a map with Nemesis mod and use 300+ Ancient Orb on 10+ different unique belts.

3.1 A map with Nemesis mod

You must use the Ancient Orb inside a map with Nemesis mod. Headhunter was introduced from the Nemesis league and is a Nemesis item.

Unique items specific to past temporary leagues, such as Headhunter can be obtained with an Ancient Orb only while standing in a map to which the appropriate league's mod has been added with Zana's Map Device.

3.2 Unique Belt

10+ different unique belt

For Headhunter, the item class is Belt. The size of unique belts is equal. Therefore, you can choose any unique belt.

Meanwhile, Ancient Orbs don't care about the item level of the original item anymore. They used to, but it changed sometime before the Metamorph league. The highest item level of Headhunter is 100 and its lowest item level is 1.

The price of a Headhunter is about 4800 Chaos Orbs and the price of an Ancient Orb is about 12 Chaos Orbs. The Ancient Orb result is RNG. You may make a big profit or get nothing.

4. It does not change the inventory size of an item

Reforging a unique item means the base item type can change when the orb is applied. Ancient Orbs do not change the inventory size of an item, so 2×4-sized “tower shields” for example stay within that group.

Headhunter is a unique Leather Belt. If you are lucky enough, you can make a good profit with it.

5. Standing in a map which has the appropriate league’s mod

Notably, unique items specific to past temporary leagues, such as PoE Headhunter can be obtained with an Ancient Orb only while standing in a map to which the appropriate league’s mod has been added with Zana’s Map Device.

Headhunter come from Nemesis League. In order to craft this best unique belt, you must go to a map with “Nemesis” mods. You can get these maps by adding with Zana’s Map Device or buying these maps from other players.

6. How to get Ancient Orb

This item is restricted to areas with the league flag for Harbinger active. There are additional ways to acquire league-restricted items.

7. Ancient Orb HeadHunter Chance

Well I did it for science, I recorded almost all of the attempts.

6553 Ancient Orbs = 15 Headhunters

So it averages out to one in 437 Ancients over 15 headhunters.

Now here is the point at which I hit each belt, i'll include total orb amount, and amount since last belt.

So its about a 400 average really, just kinda depends on if you get lucky or not, I mean If you just based it off my first 6 its closer to a 200 average, but then if you based it off belts 7 to 11 then you have about an 800 average, which is terrible.

Basically its somewhere between 400-500 ancients when you really average it out, but the best way I can put it is this, its roughly the same as trying to six link something in terms of randomness, you could six link 2-3 items in 1000 fusings, or you could be unlucky like I was this league and have to use 3270 fusings for a single six link when you could have just spent the 1500 fusings for the guarantee. So my final conclusion is: DON'T DO IT. Just buy a headhunter, or the divination cards to make one, because you could easily spend well over a headhunter to get one, and on top of that, the main problem is trying to acquire the orbs, I can't imagine how many hours I spent buying these damn orbs, all I can say is, it really isn't worth the time, effort, and luck it takes to even try. Just take the safe route.

Edit: I posted this in response to a comment, but I think this is really important so I added it in.

I know it's ironic, but all jokes aside, let me explain why I think it truly isn't worth it at this point. If we say the average is what I ended with, 1/437 Ancient Orbs exactly, you will expect to spend 5244 Chaos, this is assuming you get all orbs for 12 chaos each, which seems to be the current price. It will probably take you 2-3 hours to buy this many orbs if you are actively trying the entire time. At the moment you can buy a clean headhunter for 84-85 exalts, and exalts are 66-67c each, so just buying one would cost around 5,600c. So if you hit the assumed 437 average, you are only saving around 350c. Now obviously you aren't gonna hit my average, you could hit 3 belts within your first 250 orbs, but you could also not hit a single one within 1500 or more.

The entire reason I was able to even do this was because I got in on it early enough, orbs were 5c each, and my average for the first 6 belts were insane, if you say the first 1250 orbs were 5c each, thats 6250 chaos, the belts were 4000+ chaos at that point, so that is how I really made all my money with this method. After that point, the orbs went up in price, headhunters chaos value didn't go up much, and my luck started to dry up. At this point I believe I actually lost a lot of money between the last 9 headhunters, because the orbs were 9-10c each, the headhunters value didn't change enough to help that shift in price, and my average for the last 9 was 590 per belt, as opposed to my first 6 which averaged 206 per belt.

One last thing I really want to clear up here, mainly because of all the messages I am getting, and the misunderstanding in the comments, I do not have 15 headhunters, I had to sell them nearly every chance I could get to keep funding more ancient orb attempts, the most I ever had at once was 5, and when I had 5 I had less then 100 chaos left, and no exalts, just wanted to clear that up.

8. PoE Harbinger currency

These orbs and shards only dropped in the Harbinger leagues. They are currently only obtainable through Zana’s map device.
