Resolute Technique is a keystone passive skill. It raises the chance to hit to 100%, ignoring all accuracy and evasion stats of the attacker and defender respectively.. The cost is that you cannot deal Critical Strikes anymore.
Resolute Technique can be allocated for non-crit builds if a sufficient accuracy rating cannot be easily reached. |

With Resolute Technique, attack hits can still be dodged.
There are two types of dodge:
Dodge Attacks and Dodge Spell Damage are both capped at 75%.
With Resolute Technique, attack hits can still be blocked. The chance to block is a random roll made per attack/cast; it is not entropy-based like evasion.

If the keystone passive Resolute Technique is allocated, Elemental Overload cannot activate.
Elemental Overload grants the player 40% more elemental damage for 8 seconds on critical strike, but prevents critical strikes from dealing extra damage.
Because elemental damage can no longer critically strike, most elemental status ailments will not apply unless another source adds chance. Skills such as Glacial Hammer and
Burning Arrow have a built-in chance to inflict elemental status ailments, and for example, targets cursed with
Conductivity have a chance to be shocked when hit with any lightning damage.
Sources of guaranteed critical strikes, such as Trypanon(All Attacks with this Weapon are Critical Strikes) and the Diamond Shrine(All hits are Critical Strikes), have no effect on a character with the Resolute Technique.
Spells inherently can’t be evaded, so they don’t benefit from Resolute Technique, but it still takes away their ability to crit.
Spells do not benefit from accuracy since evasion does not aid in avoiding them.
The base duration of Blind is 4 seconds. Attacking with Resolute Technique or attacking a target which has Unwavering Stance will nullify the miss chance. Blinding a target will also reduce its effective critical strike chance by reducing its chance to succeed confirmation rolls of critical strikes. Blind is not an elemental status ailment and is not affected by the Crystal Skin notable passive skill.
This skill also has “Can’t be evaded” modifier, and allocating Resolute Technique is generally pointless.
Resolute Technique is located on the West edge of the tree. It is a stand alone keystone.
