1. Ritual Defer Mechanics

Rare items can be deferred if you do not have enough tribute.

Pay 15% of an item’s original cost to defer that item. This item will reappear in a later area, discounted by 10% of its original cost. More valuable items can take longer to reappear.

As shown in the example above, An Orb of Scouring needs 1,410 Tribute, the total deferal cost is 212 Tribute(1410 x 15%). When it reappears, it will discount by 140 Tribute and the price is 1270 Tribute(1410-140).

2. Defer multiple items

You can defer multiple items in an area.

You can see from the above image, it defers items such as Orb of Scouring, Orb of Chance, Orb of Augmentation, etc.

3. Defer Limit

Items can be deferred unlimited times, but there is a unknown max to how many items can be deferred. You can see the Orb of Scouring example from below.

4. When the deferred item reappears

The following example is a deferred item: Heatshiver helmet. If you do not buy it, this item’s price will increase next time it appears in a set of Rituals, unless it is deferred again.

If you do not defer it, when it comes back again, it will remind you “this is the last time this item will be available from an area, unless it is deferred again.”

5. Come Back Time

It is currently undetermined how long it takes for deferred items to show back up, however, more valuable items will take longer to reappear.
