Mechanics

  • Sacrifice (5-25)% of Life to gain that much Energy Shield when you Cast a Spell pairs well with Mahuxotl's Machination, allowing you to recover large amounts of Energy Shield to be able to reach Full Energy Shield for the shield's benefits.
  • It can also be combo'd with Relic of the Pact to be able to top up Energy Shield quickly; losing Life this way does interfere with casting Blood Sacrament as Reservation does not require you to have that much Life to cast, only unreserved Life.
