Polaric Devastation Build Guide

The Polaric Devastation Polaric Devastation Opal Ring introduces a new debuff called Covered in Frost and gives you another way to apply the existing Covered in Ash debuff.

This is a solid ring for anyone specialising in either fire or cold damage.

In a similar vein to Covered in Ash, Covered in Frost causes the target to take 20% increased cold damage and lowers their critical strike chance.

Covered In Ash is a debuff that causes the affected target to have less movement speed and increased fire damage taken. Ash has a duration of 4 seconds.

  • 20% less Movement Speed
  • 20% increased Fire Damage Taken
 Covered In Frost is a debuff that causes the affected target to have reduced critical strike chance and increased fire damage taken.

  • lowers their critical strike chance
  • 20% increased Cold Damage Taken

Modifiers

Left Ring slot: Cover Enemies in Ash for 5 seconds when you Ignite them: Enemies ignited by you while wearing the ring in the left slot will apply a Ash debuff for 5 seconds causing them to have 20% less movement speed and take 20% increased fire damage taken.

Right Ring slot: Cover Enemies in Frost for 5 seconds when you Freeze them: Enemies frozen by you while wearing the ring in the right slot will apply a Frost debuff for 5 seconds causing them to have 50% less critical strike chance and take 20% increased cold damage taken.
