Modifiers

Uses both hand slots – The Goddess Scorned is a one-handed sword, but does not allow a shield or another one-handed melee weapon to be equipped in the off-hand slot.

Ignites you inflict deal Damage 50% faster – Ignited enemies burn 50% faster with the Goddess Scorned equipped.

The Goddess Scorned has restrictions on where or how it can drop. It cannot be chanced. The Goddess Scorned can only be obtained with the following vendor recipe.

Supporter attribution

The Goddess Scorned was created by supporter Charan as the second part of a connected trilogy of unique one-handed swords that could be upgraded from one to the next using complex vendor recipes. The first sword in the trilogy is The Goddess Bound and the third is The Goddess Unleashed. However, the trilogy was broken in version 3.1.0 when the vendor recipe used to create the Goddess Unleashed was disabled. Oni-Goroshi was introduced to the game in version 3.1.1c as a replacement for the Goddess Unleashed, although it is not obtained through vendor recipes involving the other swords.
