11. Divine Domination(4) Necropolis 3.24
Complete each of the following Domination encounters.
League mechanics: Domination. Kirac map mods: Area contains 3 additional Shrines(cost: 3 Chaos Orbs). PoE Domination Scarab: Area contains 2 additional Shrines. List of PoE Shrines Atlas Tree.
These challenges all focus on Shrines, not Domination league mechanics. Here's how to tackle each one:
1. Activate Shrines (0/100):
This is the simplest.
- Run maps and look for small glowing structures - these are Shrines.
- Click on a Shrine to activate its effect (buff icon appears above your health bar).
- Repeat this process in 100 different maps.
2. Defeat Map Bosses while under the effect of a Shrine (0/50):
- Find a Shrine in a map and activate it.
- Head towards the boss arena and engage the boss fight.
- Ensure the Shrine buff is still active (check the buff icon) while you defeat the boss.
Tips:
- Plan your route to find the Shrine before the boss. Some Shrine buffs have short durations.
- Choose beneficial Shrines for boss fights:
- Gibbering Shrine (increased attack/movement speed)
- Wrought Flask Shrine (refills flasks for additional buffs/healing)
- Karui Ward Shrine (powerful damage shield)
3. Activate an Echoing Shrine:
- Locate an Echoing Shrine (looks like other Shrines).
- Activate it to gain a buff that casts your skills twice rapidly.
- Not all skills benefit equally (cooldown skills might not see a significant advantage).
Alternatives for Multiple Buffs:
- Combine Shrines with similar effects for a stronger single buff (e.g., movement speed from Gibbering and Haste Shrines).
- Ascendancy Classes: Some offer passive effects mimicking Shrine buffs (e.g., Raider Ascendancy for attack/movement speed).
- Flasks: Carry and use multiple flasks strategically for a combination of temporary buffs (more controllable than Shrines but shorter durations).
- Custom Game Modes (if available): Altered mechanics might allow Shrine effect stacking, but this depends entirely on the specific mode.
Focus on activating Shrines and strategically using their buffs to defeat bosses. While having 5 different Shrine effects simultaneously isn't possible, explore the alternatives to gain a combination of temporary buffs and overcome these challenges.

Divine Domination(6)
Complete each of the following encounters while you have a shrine on you.
- Defeat an Essence Monster holding 6 or more essences
- Defeat a Breachlord. The Breachlords are five endgame bosses, located inside the five types of Breaches. Each Breachlord can be battled in its own domain, a map area only accessible by activating the corresponding Breachstone in the map device. Breachlords drop exclusive unique items. Killing them is the only way to acquire Blessings. When inside the Breachlord’s domain, the player must fight their way through a breach while a timer counts down. Killing enemies will expand the timer. If the timer reaches zero, the stage ends and the player will be unable to encounter the Breachlord.
- Defeat a Harbinger Boss. Harbingers can be encountered via Kirac’s Atlas missions, as part of Kirac’s crafted Harbinger map modifier on map device or as part of specific atlas passive skill, or in Harbinger nodes in the Azurite Mine.
- Defeat a Legion General. Legions are ancient armies frozen in the midst of battle. They can be encountered by touching a Timeless Monolith, which breaks out the Legions and gives the player a window of time to defeat them. There are a total of five different legions. The Eternal Empire, Karui, and Vaal are the most common, with the Templar Legion being rarer, and the Maraketh Legion being the rarest.
- Defeat a Delirium Unique Boss. Delirium is a zone-wide effect that spawns new enemies and empowers existing ones. PoE Delirium Boss: (Kosis, The Revelation), (Omniphobia, Fear Manifest). Using Simulacrum to open the boss fighting area. Sometimes the player can also encounter the boss in maps affected by the Delirium mist.
- Complete the last Ritual in a map. Rituals are encounters that spawn from Ritual Altars. After activating the Altar, players must defeat the enemies enclosed within the Ritual Circle, gaining Tribute in the process. Players can then spend the earned Tribute to purchase various types of rewards including pre-identified rare items.
Kirac Map Mods: Domination. Area contains 3 additional Shrines. Cost: 3x Chaos Orb.
Shrines can appear randomly in most areas, granting significant bonuses to nearby monsters or casts spells at nearby players, and are often guarded by monsters. Players can steal the shrine to gain its bonuses for 45 seconds or until leaving the area. Players can have any number of different shrine effects at once. This encounter is considered Extra Content and has a chance to appear in any map area or most story areas; it also has separate chances to spawn additional shrines. The specific chance for shrines to spawn has never been officially published. This mechanic is also referred to as Domination.
