PoE Frigid Bond Support

Frigid Bond Support is a new Intelligence Support Gem. It causes the link created by link skills to apply a debuff that deals cold damage over time and chills enemies. This debuff lingers for a duration. Tag: Cold, Support, Link, Duration. Cost & Reservation Multiplier: 140%. Requires Level 38. Supports link skills. Supported Skills Damage and Chill Enemies between you and Linked Targets Supported Skills deal (355.9–3566.4) Base Cold Damage per second Damage and Chill Linger for a Base Duration of 2 seconds Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to Supported Skill's Damage Over Time effect Additional Effects From Quality: (0–10)% increased Effect of Chill inflicted with Supported Skills This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

Build Guide

Frigid Bond Support gem affects link skills and causes a cold Mist to come over them. Enemies caught in the beam are Chilled and dealt Cold Damage Over Time. This creates a new tool for Cold Damage Over Time build. It requires strategic placement of both yourself and your ally.

Links are active skills that create a bond between your character and a specific party member, providing a benefit to them while they stay in range. If the target dies while linked, you will also die. Link skills cannot be triggered or used by Totems, Traps, or Mines.

• Multiple Links: It is possible for a character to link to multiple targets. Two characters cannot both simultaneously be linked to each other. Casting a new link on a target will replace your previous links on that target.
• Duration: Modifiers to duration will affect the duration of the link. Links will break prematurely if the target leaves their range or line of sight for 4 seconds.
• Cost: Link skills have a mana cost per second for their duration, that is affected by modifiers to costs. If the character is unable to pay this cost, the link will break.
• Minions: The Minion Defence Mastery allows the character to link to damageable minions. Minions linked this way expiring naturally by running out of duration or if being resummoned count as them dying and thus will cause the caster to die. An exception however are Dancing Dervishes summoned by The Dancing Dervish. The player running out of rampage causes the Dancing Dervishes to vanish which does not count as them dying.
