Flesh and Stone Flesh and Stone is an aura that activates Blood Stance and Sand Stance.

Casts an aura that affects you and nearby enemies differently depending on your stance. Using the skill again alternates between Blood Stance and Sand Stance.

Blood Stance and Sand Stance

Blood Stance and Sand Stance are stance status provided by Blood and Sand and Flesh and Stone. The buff and debuff from the stance depend on which aforementioned skill is used. These skills can be activated again to switch between Blood Stance and Sand Stance. Certain attack skills behave differently based on which stance you are using.

Maim is a debuff that applies a 30% reduced movement speed on the affected target for 4 seconds. In Blood Stance, the Flesh and Stone aura maims nearby enemies while increasing the physical damage they take.

In Sand Stance, the Flesh and Stone aura blinds enemies in radius and grants the user damage reduction against enemies outside the aura.

Activating the skill while it's toggled on will alternate between stances. Certain skills also behave differently based on the stance you are currently in.

These support gems will affect Flesh and Stone auras:

  • Maim Maim Support – Flesh and Stone Flesh and Stone can be linked with Maim Maim Support to increase the effect of Enemies Maimed by Supported Skills take X% increased Physical Damage.
  • Stance setting is shared with Blood and Sand skill gem and toggling one will toggle both.
  • Blood Magic Blood Magic Support – This will cause linked auras to reserve health instead of mana, but increase the cost by the mana multiplier. Note that “reduced mana cost” from increases in quality have no effect on mana reservation.
  • Spell Totem Spell Totem Support – Casts a totem which will maintain the aura. The cost to cast the totem is the mana that would be reserved multiplied by the Mana Cost Multiplier of the Totem support and any other linked support gems.
  • Generosity Generosity Support – Increases the effect of the non-curse auras on allies (including minions) but prevents them from affecting the player.
  • Increased Area of Effect Increased Area of Effect Support – Further increases the Area of Effect of the Aura, but increases the Mana reservation by the gem’s multiplier.
  • Concentrated Effect Concentrated Effect Support – Lessens area of effect and applies the mana cost mulitplier, but does not provide a bonus to aura damage, as auras cannot directly cause damage. An exception would be the aura from Death’s Oath Death’s Oath.
  • Enlighten Enlighten Support – Reduces the mana reserved of the aura by the amount of the mana multiplier.
  • Empower Empower Support – Adds levels to supported auras, but increases their cost by the mana multiplier.
  • Enhance Enhance Support – Increases the quality of the gem, granting increased area of effect, but at increased mana cost.

Note that Inspiration Support does not affect reservation, but does affect auras supported by Spell Totem Spell Totem Support.
