Earn NHL 20 Coins without buying
You can earn HUT Coins by playing HUT and trading within the Auction House, but you can’t buy them. Paying for coins from a third-party is against our rules.
How to make coins in NHL 20 HUT
A few ways to earn HUT Coins are:
playing matches in HUT (excluding Play with Friends)
getting the holding bonus, promotion bonus, or division title bonus in HUT Online Seasons
ranking in Competitive Seasons
ranking in HUT Champions
completing HUT challenges
opening Daily Rewards packs
selling items in the Auction House
quickselling items from packs
completing Objectives and Milestones.
watching video ads
ranking in HUT Squad Battles
Buying Coins creates an uneven playing field. It affects the player economy when the prices of items on the Auction House increase and become unaffordable. When Coin Buyers buy cheap items in the Auction House, they take away the opportunity to buy affordable items from players who earned their Coins legitimately.
Making coins in nhl 20
You don’t need to spend money on the game to grow your coins stacks if you’re willing to play games to get rewards
Get ranked in squad battles weekly, aim for elite 3, get ranked in the competitive seasons. Sell cards during the week and buy cheap cards on Friday after 5 pm after everyone gets their squad battles/competitive season rewards to resell in a couple of days.
I have pretty much done what everyone has said to do here, and my team is around 89 OVR and I still have 200K+ coins still. YOU. CAN. DO. IT!!
I watched a guy on twitch drop 100 one day pulled base McDavid and nothing over an 83. Money isn’t the answer. Play squad battles and competitive seasons. No one mistakes me for a good player but I open a decent amount of packs every week. Good packs too.
I have about 600k coins right now and a pretty decent team with Crosby, Ovi, Kuch, MacK and haven’t spent a dime. But cards you know the value of, sell them for more then you buy them, repeat. I finish 300–400 in CS and Pro 1 in SB. I only play maybe 5–6 hours a week.

This year, you will have more opportunities to play hockey ultimate team (HUT) with different battle modes and competitions. We know that you don’t have much time to face all challenges, but don’t forget to log in to hut every day for a few seconds to get rewards. If so, you can get more than 1000 hut coins for free every day. Your goal is not just coins. Every time you enter the hut, you will find some items, basic coins, players and even consumables. They are very attractive, aren’t they?
Try the challenge: Needless to say, this is the most exciting part of the game. Players just like to face a few challenges, so you can easily overcome them. Each challenge brings the opportunity to win NHL 20 coins. The game brings countless challenges. You need to earn these coins at each level. So you just need to enjoy these challenging levels to collect coins.
You can also buy coins online or buy several bags of coins and sell all the cards you don’t need. The latter is more expensive because you have to invest real money. We recommend that you first enter the market, purchase seemingly rare cards, and then sell them to people who may be interested. As with other ultimate team games, don’t just answer any offers. Wait patiently, wait for the best one, and then sell the card.
How do you guys get so many coinsin NHL 20
I have a cousin that works for EA and can duplicate any card.
Grinded hard on FB collectables and set when Heatley was still worth 1m. Really collectables and challenges were very lucrative to start the year. Could be getting 50–75k a week alone on challenges.
Speaking of heatly I saw a 99 heatly up on the AH for max price earlier if anyone wants to try to get him but he might be expired already
I got my loot from challenges and now I play HC and CS every time… that really helps me
Well, probably that doesn’t happen anymore, but if they relaese a challange again with 7.mio coins instead of a challange collectible, then you are a made man. I doubt it will happen again, so with 7000 coins you have to be patient to get to your first million. Lately I have seen a lot base cards (88 rated or higher) going for much less then last week. Look for Kucherov, Kane, Ovi etc. for 1.5k to 3k. Sell them for 2.5 to 5k. I know that’s tough, but normally you sell this cards within an hour and you can slowly pile your coins. After that, find cheap ICE, Ruby cards. If you owning 100k or more you can try to get more valuable player. But and that is probably key, you have to learn prices for different card types. If you know the price for card A and B, it’s much easier to get steals at the 59 min. mark. And then repeat, and repeat.
Start early in the year. If you wait until three days after release then you’re already behind.
Do the challenges
Get as many free packs/collectibles/players from HUT Champs/Competitive Seasons/Challenges
Don’t buy packs with coins
Always sell the collectibles rather than doing the set.
Flip cards on the AH
Don’t buy packs with coins
This pretty much sums it up. I also sell players that leave my lineup when replaced unless I think I may reuse them again for another build. No need in them collecting dust. Also, I rarely quick sell gold players. You can can also sell them above the quick sell price even if they are 83s or 84 rated. Honestly, even the common players can be sold above quick sell prices too (its just tedious) with the 25 max sell on AH.
