How to use Breach Scarab of Snares?

Can be used in a personal Map Device to add modifiers to a Map.

How to get it?

  • It is now world drops. If you want to target specific Scarabs, Betrayal has been updated to include most of them!
  • Scarabs Atlas Passives can increase Scarabs drop chances. For example, Significant Troves grants “Unique Monsters in your Maps have 200% increased chance to drop Scarabs”.
  • Veiled Scarab currency reveals a random Scarab when clicked.
  • Divination cards. For example, a set of two Cameria's Cut cards can be exchanged for a random scarab.

PoE Breach Scarab of Snares

Breaches also contain "Clasped Hands", a breach-specific type of chest that opens when a player walks near them. They come in two varieties, "Clasped Hand" or "<Breachlord>’s Clasped Hand". These chests can drop additional splinters and only appear when the breach expands to them. It is possible to see Breachlord specific Clasped Hands before opening the breach itself as a shimmering transparent object.

PoE 3.24: Clasped Hands in Breach encounters now open when you walk near them. Breach Splinters are also now the only items that have a chance to drop from these chests.

The Breach Scarab of Snares in Path of Exile focuses on enhancing encounters with Clasped Hands, which are special items dropped by Breach Bosses. Here’s a breakdown of its effects:

  • More Clasped Hands: This scarab significantly increases the number of Clasped Hands found within Breaches in your map. You can expect an additional 5 to 10 Clasped Hands compared to a normal Breach encounter.

  • Guarded Clasped Hands: The Clasped Hands in your map will be guarded by a rare Breach monster. This adds an extra layer of challenge and potentially more rewards when defeating the guardian.

  • Use for Chayula’s Breach: Clasped Hands are used to open Chayula’s Breach, a challenging endgame area. By using the Breach Scarab of Snares, you can significantly increase your acquisition rate of Clasped Hands, making it easier to open Chayula’s Breach more often.
