How to use Cartography Scarab?

Can be used in a personal Map Device to add modifiers to a Map.

How to get it?

  • It is now world drops. If you want to target specific Scarabs, Betrayal has been updated to include most of them!
  • Scarabs Atlas Passives can increase Scarabs drop chances. For example, Explorative Carapaces grants "Scarabs dropped in your Maps are 100% more likely to be Cartography Scarabs".
  • Veiled Scarab currency reveals a random Scarab when clicked.
  • Divination cards. For example, a set of two Cameria's Cut cards can be exchanged for a random scarab.

  • Map Quality: The quality of the map you're running can also influence the tier and quantity of additional maps you find. Higher quality maps generally offer a better chance for higher tier map drops.
  • Alternative Uses: While Cartography Scarabs are primarily used for map farming, they can also be beneficial when running maps with specific divination card rewards that require large quantities of maps to be sacrificed.
