By manipulating your attributes, you can change how the straw behaves. While the ideal dream outcome is that you manage to get your strength and intelligence tied for highest, enabling both of the benefits simultaneously.

The jewel is still very powerful if it only grants your choice of permanent consecrated ground or permanent profane ground.

Rational Doctrine was created in a collaboration with rawlnx (z4kur) as a reward for taking a prize place in the 3.18 boss kill event.

Consecrated ground

Consecrated ground is a beneficial ground effect:

  • The character and their allies affected by it regenerate an additional 5% of their maximum life per second.
  • The character and their allies have 50% reduced effect of curses on them.

Profane ground

Profane ground is a detrimental ground effect that reduces resistances by -10% and increases chance to be critically hit. by adding +1% to base critical strike chance.
