Modifiers

  • Socketed Gems Cost and Reserve Life instead of Mana: Skill gems socketed in Prism Guardian cost and/or reserve life instead of mana. This effect is similar to that of the Blood Magic keystone, but without setting maximum mana to zero. The item in fact support the skill gem(s) with unique version of Blood Magic Support (SupportBloodMagicUniquePrismGuardian), which the Blood Magic support gem itself no longer exists, as it was split into two gems due to rework. The socketed skill gem in this shield will have the support gem letter B in the UI, even the current owner of this gem letter, Arrogance Support, does not support skill cost (the function has migrated to Lifetap Support), while this version of Blood Magic Support of this shield still provide the full function, and with 100% cost multiplier (reservation multiplier / Reservation Efficiency see below).
  • Reservation Efficiency: Socketed Gems have 30% increased (Life) Reservation Efficiency. This effect is additive with other Reservation Efficiency modifiers from passive skills or items. However, if that mod is specific to Mana Reservation Efficiency, then that mod does not affect the gem socketed in Prism Guardian. The modifier (as of game ver. 3.15), in fact supports the socketed skill gem(s) with hidden unique support SupportReducedReservationUniquePrismGuardian.
