Complete Abysses (0/30). Abysses are interactable objects in instances which spawns cracks and pits that spawn monsters. Abysses start spawning in acts Act 6 and onwards and in maps. Abysses are marked on the minimap with a green icon .
Defeat Abyssal Rares (0/100). Upon walking over an Abyss, a crack will form on the ground, and a small number of monsters will spawn out of it. The crack will expand as you follow it. The crack will eventually spawn a pit, which spawns many more monsters, including rare monsters.
Complete Abysses with at least 4 pits (0/15). An Abyss will create between one and four pits. In zone levels 78 and up, instead of an Abyssal Trove or Stygian Spire, Abysses with four pits may open an entrance to the Abyssal Depths, containing an encounter with an Abyssal Lich.
Gilded Abyss Scarab: Abysses in area that do not lead to an Abyssal Depths to lead to a Stygian Spire.
Winged Abyss Scarab: Abysses in area that do not lead to an Abyssal Depths to lead to a Stygian Spire.
Stygian Spire Chance: Abysses in your Maps that do not lead to an Abyssal Depths have 10% increased chance to lead to a Stygian Spire
Abyssal Depths Chance and Stygian Spire Chance: Abysses in your Maps have 5% increased chance to lead to an Abyssal Depths; Abysses in your Maps that do not lead to an Abyssal Depths have 5% increased chance to lead to a Stygian Spire
Abysses Changes 3.21: Abyssal Depths now always contain an Abyssal Lich. Abysses have a chance to spawn a Stygian Spire in place of their reward chest, which drops a Stygian Vise, jewels and other items. You’re now guaranteed to always get a four-hole Abyss alongside your Abyssal Depths, rather than just a single hole. Also updated Abyss passives on the Atlas Tree, Abyssal Lich encounter balance, Abyss uniques and Abyss Scarabs.
