Chieftain Changes 3.19

Problem: Chieftain's Tawhoa, Forest's Strength skill doesn't provide enough damage to be attractive to slam-based builds, especially when it has to compensate for not being exertable and not synergising with Fist of War Support.

Solution: Slams used by Tawhoa's Chosen now deal 100% more damage (previously 50%).

PoE Chieftain Build Guide

The Chieftain is an Ascendancy class for Marauders. It is focused around fire damage and totems. The class offers a wide variety of effects revolving around fire damage, with damage bonuses via damage conversion, penetration, and covering enemies with Ash. They can enhance their totems to weaken nearby enemies or leech life for them. The class also boasts a variety of sources of life regeneration and life leech, as well as endurance charge generation, making the Chieftain surprisingly tough to kill in the heat of combat.
